Located in a self-contained residence, the flats are separated into 5 bed or 8 bed units. The larger flats sport spacious kitchen areas with 2 cookers and 2 fridge freezers. All flats have very large single rooms as well as a communal area, making it an ideal environment for students to get to know each other. Each room has it’s own key, desk, wardroom, set of drawers, bed with bedding pack, chair and washbasin. The windows have secondary glazing and are very warm and quiet. Each flat has shared WC’s and showers, all with disabled access, which are kept very clean.
We have 2 wardens on hand at the residency, a daytime warden and a warden for evenings and weekends, to help students feel secure and settled. Students can feel safe in the knowledge that they have a number to call should they have trouble locating the residence.

Available throughout the year for closed groups of up to 60 students and during the summer for summer lets, Stansfeld Residential Centre can be booked as accommodation only or with a full programme of activities.
The centre is located 10 minutes from the centre of Oxford close to Shotover Country Park. It offers a residential experience to groups of up to 60 students of all ages and nationalities throughout the year.
Accommodation is in large dormitories divided into 6 bunks per room. Staff and leaders are accommodated in twin rooms which are located between the boys and girls dormitories. Leaders have their own lounge, kitchen and bathroom.
A variety of environmental and field trip study courses are also available at this centre. All food is made on the premises and is organic and of the highest nutritional quality.
The great thing about Stansfeld is the 18 acres of grounds. This area includes a playing area, ropes courses, ponds, woodlands and meadows. Coach parking is located close to the centre, as is the sports centre and indoor swimming facilities.
