Staying with one of our trusted homestay hosts is the perfect way for students to settle in to life in the UK for the first time. All of our hosts have been interviewed, and the accommodation they offer thoroughly vetted, to ensure it meets our high standards and those set out by the British Council. Great care has been taken to ensure the homestay hosts environment is safe, welcoming and comfortable - helping you to become part of the host environment!

The homestay hosts we recruit come from a wide range of social, ethnic and cultural backgrounds - reflecting the diverse cultures that make up Britain today, which gives you a rounded experience of our culture and lifestyle in the UK!

Twin offer a wide range of short and long term courses as well as vocational training programmes and internships. We have selected student hosts who can cater to all types of stay.

What to expect:

  • Bed and board - B&B, half board and full board
  • To be made to feel welcome and comfortable
  • To have access to communal homestay hosts areas
  • To have a door key
  • One laundry service per week
  • Clean linen per week

Location

The majority of our hosts are located in South East London, which makes travelling to and from the city simple and easy. Most hosts are located close to a train station and/or bus stop, from where you will be able to travel to the school, your placement or Central London. We pay special attention to the small, but important details of your requirements to ensure that you have a thoroughly enjoyable, rewarding and safe time with us and our hosts.

Special Requirements

With advance notice we can cater for most types of special dietary requirements. Equally important - allergies and preferences, if stated, can be catered for.
