The TWIN TUTORIAL COLLEGE 6th Form Access Programme has been specially developed in order to prepare young overseas students for entry to A-level or IB studies at selected British Independent boarding schools. TWIN and its partners will ensure successful students are placed in schools matching as closely as possible the student’s academic profile. Students joining the TWIN programme will study at our high quality, centrally located school in Eastbourne and live close by with carefully selected English families. Our aim has been to create a programme where the level of academic excellence and student care are of the highest quality. The parents and families of our students can be confident that their children will prepare for their future studies in a secure, caring, friendly but serious study environment.
Introduction Twin Tutorial College offers small classes, provides a high standard of student support and integrates established English language training with academic studies. At TWIN we understand the difficulties overseas students can experience during this period of change in their young lives. Because we understand, we have been able to create a supportive, caring environment for our students going through this critical period of transition. TWIN Tutorial College 6th Form Access Programme aims to:

Each student is assigned a personal tutor/counsellor for the length of the programme. The Academic Modules of the Access Programme are as follows:
N.B. ICT may replace one of the Science modules. The number of contact hours (classroom based tuition) assigned to Academic Modules is a minimum of 15 hours per week. Pupils will be prepared for entrance exams and coached for interviews throughout their programme. Competition for places in these schools is keen. Parents will be offered a selection of schools which are felt best suited to the aspirations and abilities of their child. TWIN and its partners will arrange for students (& parents/guardians) to visit selected schools.
