Social Programme
Social activities are a key part of the Twin Eastbourne
Experience. When you spend time with fellow students outside
of the classroom, you learn faster by practising your new
English skills and can have lots of fun at the same time!
Twin runs a unique social programme for Eastbourne students to
practise speaking English and share common interests with new
friends. We organise garden BBQs every Friday during the summer,
Eastbourne sightseeing tours, London theatre evenings, five-a-side
football matches, access to major sporting events held locally,
cultural tours to other major UK and European cities, pub, club and
film evenings, themed parties, music events and many other exciting
activities for you to enjoy.

“I’ve been in Twin School for just two months and I’ve already learned a lot in this short time. My fluency and accurate speaking are improving day by day. What I like most about my course is the positive atmosphere in the classes and that you can learn without any pressure.
During my Stay in Eastbourne I am living with a host family that is very friendly and helpful. I really like the food, although I don’t eat every English dish. I have a big room with a TV and Internet access. My host family teaches me a lot of English culture and they help me to improve my English.
As Twin offers a social programme, I took part at some social activities organised by the School; I took part in a football match and went to the cinema with other students.

“I am attending a General English Course. In this course there are many international students. The teachers are very nice and skilled. During the English lessons we get the chance to talk to our partners and to practice our speaking skills. Every day we discuss another subject in class. The English course is very interesting and useful. While I am attending the English course I live with a nice host family. From my room I have a wonderful view of the sea, it’s fantastic. I can see Twin’s teachers are very passionate and caring for their students. So it’s no surprise that they offer a great social programme for the students. There are regular pub and cinema nights and I also joined a BBQ Party. There is also a little shop in the school, which offers all the things I need for good prices.”

“When I came here first I didn’t know any English but I struggled and worked hard. Because my teachers believed in me, I didn’t want to let them down. Talking sincerely, they are the best teachers I have ever known. I am staying with a host family. They are the best. I think they are friendly, humble, trustworthy people. Thank you for them.”
