Our General English courses provide a great opportunity to study English, either online or while living in the UK or Ireland for as long as you need.
With our range of locations and accredited courses, you can choose to learn English in the busy cities of London and Dublin, or in the relaxing (and sunny) seaside town of Eastbourne. If you are not ready to travel yet, you can also study English with Twin online by joining one of our virtual classrooms.
Our General English course is aimed at increasing your confidence in using the language on a daily basis so that you are comfortable in an English-speaking environment, whether this is socially, for work, for travel or for study.
We want you to have the best experience while studying with us, whether you do so for a short, or long-term.
Whilst at Twin Centres, students will be able to enjoy a learning experience benefitting from monthly workshops based on grammar and independent study.
Students staying for an extended period of time in the UK, or Ireland you will be able to experience more of the culture, and you will have more time to practise your English while sight-seeing and socialising with other students.
If you want to also gain some work experience whilst in the UK, as a separate service, our award-winning team can help you find placements (available for EU students only), creating the perfect environment for you to practise the skills that you have learned on your longer term English course.
Students who are not able to travel to any one of our Centres have the opportunity to improve their skills by studying online. Our virtual classrooms provide students the opportunity to meet students from all over the world, while improving their Enlish skills. Our online course is supported by our Twin e-learning platform where students have access to various study materials and all of their course work.
We also have a number of measures in place to make sure our students are safe and happy during their time with us. For those under 18 we also provide further care and support, please visit our Care and Support page for more information.
